That WUN Snowball-Love's Consequences
Update
You probably assumed Chey stayed with Sean and that they agreed to work things out. But, he ended up getting Kim pregnant which was the end of their relationship. Needless to say, Chey and her friends have always speculated that Kim was messing with Sean's best friend who is the person they believe to be her actual baby's father. Not to mention, Sean cheating on Chey with her best friend sealed the deal. Chey has "washed her hands" with Sean and since has been mildly mingling. In the whole light of things, Chey wants to remain open about love and all it could give but has moments when she is unable to recollect the "good" as much as she was able to with the "bad."
Back to the climax...
As Tre leaves the building of his condo, a female with blonde toned hair and a petite body frame walks his way. He holds the door open for her and she catches it with a gleaming smile. "Hey, aren't you, Tre?" she asks and tilts her head to the side. Tre responds with a short, "yes." She then slides her hand over his and holds it letting him know where her interest lies. At this point, Tre begins to remove his hand from under hers and backs away. She steps closer and whispers seductively, "it may not be clear of who I am now but everything will make sense if you allow it to, later." She kisses his neck and walks into the building switching as much as possible. Her A-line skirt with red bottom points accents the few curves she has. Tre gapes in bafflement when suddenly something sparks. He turns away from the door and pulls his cell phone out after tipping valet and gets into his car.

Chey 😍: good morning, beautiful.
seven minutes later...
"Good morning, Mr. CEO."
"How's your morning going baby?"
"It's cool, just finished my morning workout. how's work?"
"Same ole but its going well. I have a question for you."
"ASK me then! Lol"
"Your attitude is 😏 but do you have a best friend who's petite with blonde toned hair? I think I remember seeing you all together the night we met."
"Yes--that's my best friend, well was. Why, what's up?"
"Oh no, babe.. I'm not interested. You know where my mind is but call me when you get a chance."
"I will when I get out of the shower."
"Cool."
Chey begins to think of all the things Tre could tell her. It couldn't possibly be about Sean. They've been broken up and she has blocked Sean in every way possible. She then realizes that Tre did bring up Tara and the fact the she and Tara are no loner friends makes her really anxious. It's already been hard for Chey to adjust to the idea of her "best friend" sleeping with her boyfriend, well "ex-boyfriend." Tara never came across as being the type of woman who would ruin another woman's relationship let alone, be a betrayer. She has been trying to reach out to Chey on Instagram but Chey blocked her and proceeded to take down all their photos together which took a couple of days. They were so close and had so many Hollywood stories. When her Instagram friends started to notice, they begin sending her DMs asking things like, what's up with you and ya girl? but Chey never entertained any instigators especially pertaining to their friendship.
Chey takes a fifteen minute shower that consisted of her using her favorite milk body wash and contemplating her life. She applies vanilla lotion, slips on her matching undies set, and puts on a black sleeveless body suit. She has a photo shoot in the afternoon so she decides to slip on something chill but a little sexy; so her Nike hat and a pair of olive Huaraches gives her the look she was going for. She picks up her cell phone from the dresser and walks to her bed, she calls Tre on FT and he picks up after four rings. His smile tells her he's excited to see her face again. Chey can't help but to smile back--Tre is undeniably sexy with beautiful teeth and the way he carries himself makes Chey even more attracted to him.
"Hey, I hope you don't mind that I FT'd you instead of calling."
"No, not at all, beautiful. I'm excited you did."
"What's up? Your text has my mind everywhere."
"I just wanted to make sure I was not tripping"
"What do you mean?"
"I was leaving out of my building this morning when I ran into your best friend."
"ex-best friend."
"My bad, ex-best friend.”
Chey unlocks the message and it reads:
I always get what I want just like I did with Sean. He may be over me but it's OK. I've got my eye on new candy. 😉
What kind of sick sh** is this? She really needs helps. Chey screenshots the message and blocks the number. This hurts more because it's proof that Tara is actually a back stabber. How can she be so willing to hurt me, her so-called, "best friend?" She was playing the friend role the entire time; never once did she turly care for Chey and their friendship.
Chey goes back to her townhouse to take a shower and nap when she sees Sean sitting on her steps. With a lot of hostility and anger Chey yells--
"Why the f*** are you here, Sean?!"
"Bae, I just want to tell you one thing. Please listen and I'll leave."
Its something about a man giving in, saying they will leave as you non verbally make it clear they should; it makes you subconsciously admit that you really don't want him to. You want him to continue to fight to be in your presence and beg you to allow him to make things right. Chey turns her head and looks across the street which tells Sean she's listening.
"You didn't deserve this, Bae. I'm hurting just thinking about how a man is going to come along and fix your broken heart. I love you more than anything in this world."
And with those words, tears begin to effortlessly fall down Chey's cheeks as they do for Sean, too.
"I'm going to go away so you can heal and move on. You deserve happiness but, Bae, I want you to remember something. I'm here for you and no other woman will ever have my heart, ever. I love you."
Sean grabs Chey's hand and kisses it. He then turns to leave, wiping his face with the back of his hand. He sits in the car for a minute with his head hanging low before pulling off. Chey cannot stand the thought of going inside because of the memories with Sean so instead, she goes to the gym. Working out and spending time with Tara always made major things seem minor afterward but her outlets are down by one now. When she gets to the gym, she puts her phone on do not disturb and goes straight into a rigorous session. After two hours of intense training, she showers and then heads home. She makes herself a lite dinner and plops down on the sofa, and indulges in her current favorite tv series on Netflix. After watching three episodes, she's asleep.
About an hour later, she hears a knock at the door. She thought she was dreaming the first time so she doesn't get up. But after the second time, she jumps realizing it was real. She swings the blanket off her cold thighs and goes to the front door. When she gets there, she attempts to look through the peep hole when she notices the door is open.
She runs back to the sofa to grab her cell phone when she notices its missing and the tv has been turned off. She runs to the grab her back up phone from the drawer in the kitchen. She has to turn it on before she can call 911 so she grabs a knife and hides in a closet nearby. The phone turns on after a minute that feels like a thousand years. With her hands trembling, she dials 911 and attempts to answer the dispatcher when she hears a voice calling her name. She drops the phone in her lap in fear and backs away into the pantry portion of the closet. The voice gets nearer and nearer and her heart beats louder with every second passing. The voice stops at the foot of the door letting her know who ever is in the house has found her. Was it the light on the cell phone? She hurriedly turns the brightness down with wobbling, sweaty palms. The dispatcher yells, "ma'am, are you there?" through the mic when the door opens. She sees Tara standing there with a gun in her hand but Tara can't see Chey because there's an overlap of the pantry's door. Tara kicks at the pantry in frustration and walks away aggressively in search for her, going towards the yard. Chey puts the cell phone in the pocket of her sweats and runs to the second bedroom and locks the door. She goes into the bathroom and hides in the shower. She takes the phone out of her pocket and dials Sean's number. He picks up on the second ring and she sobs into the phone. Sean says, "I'm on my way, baby. Stay quiet and don't move, no matter what, put the phone back in your pocket." Chey puts her head between he legs so her legs can cover her ears. She rocks back and forth hoping this is all a nightmare.
She hears the door knob to the bedroom turn and Tara yells, "You stupid, b****!" in frustration. Chey gets up to go make sure the bathroom door is locked. **BOOM the gunshot causes her to scream in fear and run out onto the balcony. Tara shoots into the bathroom door and opens the door while walking in yelling Chey's name. "I know you're in here little miss, I want to be Sean's wife," Tara says mocking Chey. Chey walks backwards towards the edge of the balcony wishing someone would save her. Tara reaches the threshold and smiles in relief. "Now wasn't that easy, princess Chey?" she asks waving the gun at her head. Chey flinches and tries to run back towards the bathroom when she sees Sean. He yells for Chey and Tara lunges forward to grab her shirt, shooting a bullet through Sean's stomach. "Look what you made me do, b****!" Tara screams at Chey falling to her knees, grabbing Sean's head. "It was a mistake, baby. I would never hurt you!" Tara tells Sean who is wailing in pain. Chey backs away into the bathroom, and runs to the back door when she hears Tre's voice. "Chey, you here? Chey.." Chey runs to his voice and in between sobs tells him, "Tara has a gun." He tells her that Tara called him and told him that if he cares for her, he'll try to come stop her. He figured she was playing because she laughed before hanging up but when Chey's phone kept going to voicemail after an hour, he decided to come check on her.
Tre grabs Chey's hand and pulls her toward the door when **BOOM, Tara shoots him in the back causing him to fall flat on the floor and crunch into a fetal position. He tells her to run and she turns to look at Tara with hurt in her eyes. Tara smiles and kisses the gun and says, "If I'm correct, I believe I have enough bullets to finish this." Chey turns and runs into the dining room, hiding along the diving wall. Everything is silent for a minute strong so Chey peeks over the wall and meets the gun head on. "Go to the bedroom, NOW!" Tara screams at Chey and with that, she turns and walks cautiously, careful to not have her head directly on the hole of gun.
When they make it to her bedroom, they hear police entering the front door. "If anyone is here, come out with your hands up," one of the officers yell. Tara smacks Chey across the head with the gun, slicing a part of her hair line open. The officer's voice gets closer and then fades. Tara panics and decides to hit herself in the eye with the gun and put it in Chey's hand. She takes the knife out of her pocket and runs to the bedroom door to try to escape causing the knife to pierce into the other officer's lungs. He goes limb and falls into the dresser, grabbing at the knife in agony. The officer who went to check the yard saw this and rushes in to apprehend Tara doesn't make it around the house in time. Within seconds, she's already in her car and off on her way.
Had it not been for That Wun Snowball when they first said, I love you to each other, Chey would be, Sean would still be, Tre wouldn't have...

“She basically told me I could get it...later.”
“......”
“Chey, you good? I just didn’t...”
“No need to explain, thank you for telling me.”
“Same on your end, no need to thank me. My eyes are set on you. Look at you, beautiful as can be.”
Chey starts smiling and blushing. She could use the good uplift in compliments. This mind battle she’s been going through has caused her to be really reserved and antisocial. Then to top it off, worrying about how she was betrayed by Tara knowing how much they confided in one another made things worse.
She wouldn’t dare say anything? Would she?
After a scheduled date for tomorrow night and the exchanging of more smiles, they end the call on a note of excitement. Chey is able to put her mind on the date and the photo shoot she has in an hour.

At the photo shoot...
Photographer: “stay just like that, one more--another....and done! Amazing job today, baby!”
Chey was on set for four hours and lost count of the outfit changes. Her stylist has OCD like her so they work well together—nothing slips past them. All the outfits are simple but sexy with just the right amount of jewelry and the heels are to die for.
After checking the negatives, Chey goes to change and grab her phone.
